A time of loss can be a challenging and emotionally difficult time to organise a ceremony for a loved one, and often so overwhelming and sad that it’s difficult to think straight.
As an independent Heart-led celebrant, I can work with you to create a ceremony that truly celebrates the life of your loved one, gives justice to their memory, and offers a beautiful, positive space to reflect as part of your grieving process.
What do funerals & memorials involve?
A funeral or memorial ceremony can focus on the personality of your loved one and the different areas of life they were involved in, including family, interests and working life. It can reflect your faith or belief system and I will gladly include any rituals or practices that help create a beautiful, unique and meaningful ceremony. Readings, poems and music can all be included, together with the involvement of friends and family if that is your wish.
I can create and deliver cremation or burials ceremonies, including eco-burials; I can also provide a ceremony to accompany the scattering of ashes. Funeral ceremonies can be created for individuals of any age, including young children or babies who have died before birth.
If you would like to honour a loved one by holding a memorial ceremony, this can take place soon after the death or at a future date. Memorials held sometime after a death, when the raw emotion has settled a little, can be a poignant yet joyous and uplifting celebration of a much-loved life. I will gladly create a beautiful and unique memorial ceremony for you, at any time and venue of your choice.
